We take so many things for granted at home that we do not appreciate them until they become unavailable. One of these is the water supply to our house. Disruptions may occur but one day it was the worst. It began in one morning when we got up to prepare for the day ahead. All the taps except one tap went dry because of the big problem on the tank. We had only a small storage of water. Whatever little water we had was used sparingly. That day I realize about the use of water. From then I decided not to waste water. Finally the water supply problem was restored on the next day. It was wonderful to see the rust colored water gusting out of the taps. It took a while for the water to become clear. Anyhow we are glad that we had the normal water supply again.

Power Failure
One evening when I was getting ready to watch a cartoon on television, there was a power failure. The television set just went blank, the lights went off and the fan slowed down. As it was getting dark, I hoped that the power would be restored soon but it was not to be so. Soon darkness enveloped the neighborhood. All of us sat quietly in the living room. I had never met such a long power failure in my life. It is really a horrible experience to me in such darkness. We had grown so dependent on electricity. It remained me the people who live without the electricity. Finally it was time to bed and still there was no power. I groped my way to my room, changed and lay quietly in the darkness. It felt so strange without the familiar lights around me. The power turned back at dawn. By then we did not need it anymore.
Need for Physical Exercise
Each of us has a physical body made of muscles, blood, bones and various other living tissues. When we any one is injured or not working properly then we get ill. Nobody likes to be ill. So it is important to keep our body healthy. Exercising the body is the one way we can keep our body healthy. If we do not exercise muscles become weaker and we are less able to do things properly. There are many types of exercises that we may participate in. we may play badminton, football or whatever games we prefer. Some prefer less strenuous exercises like Tai Chi, Yoga or a leisurely stroll in the park. Some overdo things and end up injuring themselves. It is fine to jog for a few kilometers. Exercise is important. No exercise may result in weak body. Too much exercise may result in injury. Neither extreme are good. It is up to us to be sensible in exercising.
Health Reform in US
The latest news is that the senate healthcare legislation would lead to increase the annual insurance premium around $4000 by 2019 but the White House blasted that report. Obama aim is to revamp the healthcare that has been soared recently. It may create significant impact on the private health insurance coverage. The finance panel calls for the comprehensive market reforms and it provides the people with tax subsidies. The health insurance company can fix the amount as $500,000 that they can deduct from taxable income. But the industry groups such as Aetna, Well Point Inc, United Health group defended the report. The bill is looking forward to increase money from the companies and the consumers to help pay for the costs involved in healthcare the Karen Ignagni told to the reporters. The white house is working with the industry but there is a indication that the strategy would no longer be operative. The sectors must reduce the spending on healthcare rather than imposing taxes.
